This is a typical day at my house...

Today the underside of my kitchen table was painted with yogurt.

Everyday their room looks like a tornado in a trailer park.

Last month Jack put the hose in the exhaust pipe to our furnace.

These kids are pros!

Bear Lake 2010

With our family of kiting friends, we gathered at Bear Lake for an enjoyable weekend. 

The kids loved the water! Bella's lips even turned blue.

We named all islands Jackaboo Island

Notice the seagull hovering over the subway sandwich.

Our first day out there wasn't enough wind to fly the kites, 

the second day the wind blew up to 30 mph!

Bella and I spent some time in the pickup during high winds. 

Later, I put on the wet suit and braved the waves. I still need a picture for that.

I felt like a little kid....so much fun!

The boys got a few runs in and were satisfied. Especially after biking, football game, 

and fluming to top things off. Happy kiting!

August

Another summer gone. Time to start teaching piano lessons, and get out warmer clothes. I guess I can look back at what a fun summer we did have, and hope next year gets here quick!

August was full of fun. Went to Lava Hot Springs with family.

We had a fun filled 4th in Driggs this year. (Even though Jack and I were sick) We rode the ski lift at Grand Targhee. This is River, Faren, Boston, and Avery.

What a beautiful view from up on top!

We took a short hike to a waterfall. Again, beautiful!

Tried out the rope swing. Val always has to show off his diving skills. The water was too cold for most of us.

June

I've waited too long that I have to play catch up now. June started out with Jack turning 3 years old!
We had a BBQ with some friends, then caught the new Shrek movie at the drive-in.

 He loved his gifts!

These two love to go on 4-wheeler rides!

Bella gets into everything! She is so smart, and is starting to say some more words.

My new favorite

I came across Pretzel Bites and thought that they would be a fun snack to try. I made them for my piano students today and they were a hit! I highly recommend this yummy and easy treat! The link is so detailed I won't even bother messing with directions. I did use the regular Rhodes Roll dough rather than the Texas size, because that's what I had. Both the Parmesan and cinnamon were divine. Enjoy!

These are some of the foods I remember from college. Either my roommates or I ate and lived off them. They sustained us through tests and breakups, snow and more snow, long walks and basketball games. Wasn't college great?! Funny how these foods remind me of the those days not so long ago.
