Happy days are here again!

After almost a full week of sickness we are finally better! Jack was a miserable kid. I don't think we went through that many diapers, blankets, and outfits as a newborn. I was contantly doing wash. Today has been completely different.
Doesn't he just make you smile?
Of course, we had to have a couple of baths per day.

Tagged

I admit that I have put this off, but my cousin Sheena tagged me. I will now share with you 5 things unique to me.

First off, I really enjoy chinese and mexican food. I miss a trip to Fong's once in a while. Recently, we stopped at Bajio for lunch and devoured the most tasty fajita ever! I highly recommend the Fajita Clasica.

Second, I despise in the worst way SPIDERS! If I see one I am jumpy all day, and have to check the bed before I get in. I can't even look at a picture of one.

Third, there is that pet peeve that just gets at you. Do you ever find empty milk or juice containers in your fridge?

Fourth, I have never liked to excercise because everyone has always told me how skinny I am. In school you have to watch videos and listen to lectures on anorexia. I never wanted anyone to think that I was, so I wouldn't be caught dead excercising. Now, I understand the importance of it in one's life. If I want to keep up with my husband when we are older I had better start a routine, any suggestions?

Fifth and last, I have always had this fantasy of swimming in a tropical pool with waterfall. Looks great about now!

*Bonus: I really enjoy watching American Idol. Both Val and I have mutual on Tuesday nights and have to record it. Check it out, we love it!

I guess I am suppost to tag someone, well whoever has not done one this is this one to do!

Our Beloved Prophet

We are very saddened by the passing of our dear Prophet.
Pres. Gordon B. Hinckley passed away at the age of 97. He has done so many wonderful things, there aren't words to describe his greatness. I will always remember getting to be in the same room as he dedicated the Hinckley Building on BYU-I campus. We will miss him.

Little Horticulturist

As I was carefully mending a pair of my favorite jeans I was disturbed by the silence around me. Of course this could only mean one thing...

Did I do that?

Hair we are!

I thought that these pictures were kind of funny.
I have combed Jack's hair several different ways,
yet it always ends up fluffy and straight.

My brother Justin is a leader in their BOY'S cheering section for high school basketball games. They always come up with the craziest do's.
My sister Mindy helped him with this one.

Weekend Fun

Went to Rexburg this weekend and was able to go to the temple open house.
What a beautiful place! It was truly amazing.

Next, I was so excited to see and get reaquainted with friends from high school. These are a few shots of some of their kids. My camera is terrible and doesn't do these adorables justice.

Finally, my parents brought me home, we went swimming at Lava Hot Springs,

then made it to a mission report in Utah.

It was a full, fun weekend! Thanks everybody!

Family Fun

Christmas was a blast spent with the Barrick family. There is always plenty of good food!
This was Jack's first Christmas, I think that he did well opening his gifts. He seemed to like the paper and bows more than his toys.

This kid loves to scratch his forehead.
This was our unique tree cut from the hills. We couldn't find a pretty, full one...
so, this one was next best. It splits into three separate trees. I loved it!
