Hair we are!

I thought that these pictures were kind of funny.
I have combed Jack's hair several different ways,
yet it always ends up fluffy and straight.

My brother Justin is a leader in their BOY'S cheering section for high school basketball games. They always come up with the craziest do's.
My sister Mindy helped him with this one.

Weekend Fun

Went to Rexburg this weekend and was able to go to the temple open house.
What a beautiful place! It was truly amazing.

Next, I was so excited to see and get reaquainted with friends from high school. These are a few shots of some of their kids. My camera is terrible and doesn't do these adorables justice.

Finally, my parents brought me home, we went swimming at Lava Hot Springs,

then made it to a mission report in Utah.

It was a full, fun weekend! Thanks everybody!

Family Fun

Christmas was a blast spent with the Barrick family. There is always plenty of good food!
This was Jack's first Christmas, I think that he did well opening his gifts. He seemed to like the paper and bows more than his toys.

This kid loves to scratch his forehead.
This was our unique tree cut from the hills. We couldn't find a pretty, full one...
so, this one was next best. It splits into three separate trees. I loved it!

Happy Holidays!

Being from a family who used to make suckers for a living, I thought that it would be fun to dig out the old molds and make candy for Christmas. This was the first attempt.

Things went much better after that, and the kids all had fun seeing how the suckers were made.

We hope that you all have a Merry Christmas!

Jack is excited, how about you?

Its all about ME

I've just been informed of a give-away. A friend of mine showed me these cute patterns on Thimbleblossoms.com and she is giving away some of her new patterns if you post a comment on her blog. I would like to get into quilting more. This is one Alicia is working on: Here is the link to post a comment:

So, a little about Megan Eddins:
Right now I am teaching piano lessons, being secretary for our business, and of course fulfilling the role of mom with our 6 mo. old. Here I am 81/2 mo. prego- Come on, I can hear you thinking it so just say it. Yes, I look quite small, lucky me. We were in Moscow for Faren's (Val's bro) graduation from law school.

Family reunion this summer in Montana. I really enjoy camping, or just being outside when the weather is nice. It has been fun tending to the yard and its many flowerbeds. Although, they are a tremendous amount of work, difficult when you have a belly all spring.

Canoeing Labor Day weekend in Driggs. We saw a huge bull moose on the bank. It is so fun to be out enjoying nature and good weather. Jack was a good sport.
