Just keep swimming...

Summer is a time where we spend a lot of time in, on, or around the water. We have had several fun boating days on Alexander Reservoir and a swim day at Lava Hot Springs.

We had a fun week with everyone here, and finished things off with a cruise on the pontoon boat.

King of Pop

Not what you expected?

Val is one of the biggest pop drinkers I know. A while back I told him I would start exercising if he would quit drinking pop. I did this mainly because I thought it wasn't possible, and to get him off caffeine. Well, he did it...and where am I? Sitting in the recliner feeding the baby! Thank goodness for all those caffeine free pops that are out now!

I guess the monkey had to go too!

If anyone has experience with little boys, please let me know what works!

Birthdays

We celebrated two birthdays in the family on Saturday with the Eddins clan.

Jack turned 2 on Friday and Myrn's is on Thursday.

Myrna got a new moniter for her computer Jack blew out his candle with a straw, got lots of fun presents, and
a new bike to ride. Thanks everyone!
He threw a fit when we tried to put it in the trunk to come home.
Idaho Falls to Bancroft would be quite the ride on a tricycle!

We braved the rain and went to the zoo. I have been wanting to take Jack for a while.

We will definately have to go again when the weather is better. And, when Jack doesn't have a wagon to distract him from the animals. Thats all he was interested in was pulling the wagon.

Where did April go?

I need to play catch up. Here is a look at what we have been up to lately.

Bella is growing so fast, she weighed 10 1/2 lbs at 5 weeks!

She is getting to be all cheeks and smiles (ignore that dreaded baby acne!)

Val won 2nd place with his carrot car.

Our dog Skiff showed off his acting skills in the high school play "Oliver".

For my birthday Val took me to Chile's and shopping. The next day we went to Lava for a picnic and let the kids throw rocks in the river. Later, we watched the boys try to kite. Let's just say there wasn't much wind that evening.

This past Sunday was Bella's blessing day. I was excited to use the dress I made back in my college sewing class.

39 Weeks- Went in for a scheduled c-section and had contractions on the way there.

She was coming today no matter what.

Born: 8:43 am 7lb4oz 19in Thankyou for all of the visitors, meals, gifts, help, phone calls, and love!

It is a change to have little pink clothes, but sure is fun! She is a sweet little thing getting cuter everyday.

We had quite the eventful weekend, most of which I am sad to say was not good. One event being that Faren hit a cat with our car and shattered the bumper. Here's the run down:

• We headed to Pocatello for State Wrestling ready for some fun.
• I got stranded at the motel (no pool) with no car.
• Saturday morning my brother calls to inform me that a friend I grew up with in our ward had taken her life.
• I got to meet up with my friend Sarah and kids at the mall.
• Found an outfit to bring baby home from the hospital.
• Sunday morning woke up to a basement full of water.
  

The house feels like it is in shambles, but we are very lucky we caught the mess when we did. Everyone is well, and we are planning to have this baby on the 25th! One thing at a time I guess.
